Finding Self Love

Some people say that you can't love another person until you fully love yourself. Maybe, or maybe not. I have found that through loving someone else you can find love for yourself that you never knew but is that still considered self love? You technically didn't love yourself and still don't because you had to find this love through loving another person or thing? ummm.... I wonder
